Hi, I’m Krystal Appleby.
My path into Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wasn’t linear — it was lived. After years of resisting my calling, trying to force myself to stay in the “logical” world of university and science, I swung into the fast-paced world of waitressing, learning people and life with every shift. It wasn’t until 2014 that I finally said yes to my true path and began my studies at the Alberta College of Acupuncture & TCM, completing diplomas in both Acupuncture and TCM, and later interning in Hangzhou, China.
Since then, my practice has deepened through further studies in Sports Medicine, Cosmetic Acupuncture, deep energetics, hypnotherapy, and life coaching. But more importantly, I’ve rooted myself in the core of the medicine: energy, cycles, seasons, and the deep healing that happens when we stop pushing and start listening.
Over the years, I’ve had the honour of supporting not only physical healing, but also life transitions — helping people reclaim their passion, leave stagnant careers, and step into soul-led lives. Many came to me for pain and stayed for the transformation. That’s the magic of this work — it reminds us that the life we crave is possible.
After a whirlwind chapter of entrepreneurship, mentorship, love, and global travel, I’m now embracing a new season — one of peace, and presence. While I travel and work in multiple locations I continue to save a place in my heart to call Fort McMurray home; a place that shaped me and continues to hold my heart.
Whether you’re in a season of transition, healing, or awakening, I look forward to meeting you wherever you are in your journey.

Originally from Newfoundland, Leah has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2019. She began her career with a strong focus on deep tissue and medical-based massage therapy — believing that effective treatment meant applying as much pressure as possible.
Since discovering Solluna in 2024, Leah has shifted her approach to care. While she continues to provide therapeutic deep tissue work, her treatments now prioritize working with the brain and body rather than against them. She places a strong emphasis on how massage therapy influences the nervous system, recognizing that long-term change happens when the body feels safe enough to release tension — not forced into it.
Leah incorporates a variety of techniques including myofascial release, Graston Technique®, and cupping therapy. She is passionate about helping clients understand that deep tissue work can be both effective and comfortable, without relying on excessively painful pressure.
Her favourite areas to treat include the neck, shoulders, head, and TMJ-related tension. Leah also enjoys working with prenatal clients and children, tailoring each treatment to the individual needs of her clients.
Leah believes that in order to best support others, she must also care for herself. Outside of the treatment room, she prioritizes regular bodywork, time in nature, self-development practices, and weightlifting to maintain her own physical and mental well-being.
She works best with clients who are ready to actively participate in their care and develop a greater awareness of how their lifestyle and daily habits influence their overall health.

Hello, I’m Lindsey! Born and raised in Fort McMurray, I’m now raising my own family here. After the birth of my second child, I realized I needed a career that would offer both flexibility and fulfillment—something that would allow me to be more present as a parent while also being able to pursue a career that was meaningful to me. I enrolled in the local 2200 massage therapy program on a whim, and I quickly realized that this was where I was meant to be.
I approach each treatment with warmth, intuition, and a strong belief in collaboration. My goal is always to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where my clients feel heard and supported, and I feel so fortunate that I am able to share space with people this way while helping them with their pain.
In my own journey to understand myself better and the mind-body connection, I have also completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, a 100-hour Meditation Teacher program, and I’m a certified Reiki practitioner. These experiences have really changed my perspective on life, and I hope to one day share some of the skills and knowledge I have gained by offering women’s retreats so that women can dive into their own healing and self-discovery journeys.

Carla was born and raised in Fort McMurray and has always been passionate about bringing natural sources of healing to her community.
From a very young age she always knew she belonged in the alternative healing world. Right out of high school she moved to Edmonton and graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2009 with her diploma in holistic health. Learning about herbal medicine, reflexology, and acupressure ignited her interest and she knew it would only be the beginning.
From there, she earned 700 hours of training in yoga and yoga therapy. Going on to lead local classes and yoga retreats around Canada and Costa Rica. In her teaching career she focused on self love, self awareness and reconnecting body, mind and soul.
After 7 years of leading yoga practice she was ready for a new adventure and decided to attend the Alberta college of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Passion was ignited once again as she witnessed people heal from chronic pain, insomnia, digestive problems, anxiety, depression and so much more. She is so grateful to practice and learn a craft that assists people in their healing journey.
